The Very Reverend Jeremy Auld

I was born and brought up in Scotland and my wife Christine in the Fiji Islands.  We met there when I did a stint as the Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions before moving back to Scotland to explore my vocation to ordained ministry.  We have two sons, Benedict (18) and Nicholas (14). Christine is a teacher by background but her interest in social justice has taken her career in recent years into advocacy for those caught up in the benefits appeals system. 

Prior to taking up the post of Rector of the Benefice of Woodstock and Bladon on January 9th 2020 our ministry had been all Scotland based – curacy in Edinburgh, Rector of Dollar and, for ten years, Provost (Dean) of St Paul’s Cathedral in Dundee.
