We are the Anglican parish church for Bladon and are here to serve the whole community. St Martin's is a friendly, growing, welcoming church with a good choir, study groups, warm fellowship and lovely social events. We are privileged to be custodians of the burial place of Sir Winston Churchill, and welcome thousands of visitors from around the world every year. Use this site to explore all the activities of our church, to find out more about weddings, baptisms or funerals and more. Our Sunday service is at 9.30am.

Do contact us if you have any questions.

This has been a place of Christian worship since the 11th century. Each Sunday we have Sung Eucharist at 9.30am. On the third Sunday of the month we hold a more informal family service, suitable for all ages, not just our youngest members.

Weddings and christenings are moments of great celebration which we would be happy to help you plan. We also have space to hire for parties or events with our Bladon Church Room.

Get involved

We are a thriving and sociable community and there are plenty of ways to get involved. From joining our choir, volunteering with our monthly lunch club or Wednesday morning toddler group, to learning and growing with our study groups, there's something for everyone.
