Gabriel's Sponsored Swim

On Saturday 29th June 12.00pm at Thame Leisure Centre Gabriel Masih-Gill, a dedicated member of Woodstock congregation, will do a sponsored swim to raise funds for continuing his private physiotherapy following his surgery last August. Scroll down to read all about this in Gabriel’s own words.

Gabe would love to see you at the leisure centre on the day if you can go along to cheer him on!

Let’s help him to achieve his dream to walk!

SAT 29TH JUNE @12PM                                 THAME LEISURE CENTRE OX29 2BB

(Come Along & Watch)

I am doing a sponsored swim to help raise money to continue with my private physiotherapy with Drew Walcott @ SDR Progression in Wales. I usually swim 10 lengths. I have set myself a HUGE CHALLENGE to do 20 lengths – double the amount!!!!! Last August I had an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhyzotomy (SDR) – this operation removed the spasticity from my body. I have cerebral palsy and was very stiff and my muscles very tight. It has made me feel loose and free.  My parents, family and friends all helped to raise £40,000 for this operation and private specialist physio.  My funds have now run out!!!!   I need to continue to raise more money for me to pursue my independency and hopefully achieve my DREAM TO WALK. If you can or would like to help me achieve my dream – you can complete the sponsor form or donate by putting money into the charity box or visit or text GABRIEL £5, £10 or £20 to 70085. You can contact my mum for more details or any questions

Thank you for all your love and support.  With The Blessing of Jesus Christ I WILL achieve my Dream To Walk.
